Who we are
MemFlash (memflash.app) is a flashcard learning app. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and Google account identifier. As you use the app we store the content you create — flashcard sets, cards, and your review progress — plus voice preferences and generated text-to-speech audio.
How we use it
Your data is used only to provide MemFlash: syncing your sets across devices, tracking your learning progress, generating audio for your cards, and powering optional AI card generation. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Sharing
If you share a set via a share link, people who open the link can see that set's name, description, and cards, along with your name or email as the owner. Your review progress is never shared. We otherwise share data only with the service providers that host MemFlash (Google Cloud, Neon) and only as needed to run the app.
Data retention & deletion
Your data is kept while your account is active. Deleting a set permanently removes its cards. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete my account, or by emailing support@memflash.app.
